What is the Pomodoro Timer Technique?

It is a time management method that is cyclical and consists of separating tasks into small 25-minute intervals, which can be called "Pomodoros". After every 25 minutes separated, it is necessary to take rest to relax and breathe a little, before resuming activities.

This technique can be applied at work or study to increase concentration and maximize time and efficiency, as well as helping to avoid delays and meet deadlines.

Learn how to use the Pomodoro Timer:

  1. Mark Pomodoro (25 minutes) on the timer;
  2. Focus only on one activity during that period;
  3. When the time is up, take a short break of 5 minutes;
  4. Repeat the process four times;
  5. When completing the cycle, take a longer break, 15 minutes.
